At Bubli Pty Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and manage the personal information you provide when you sign up for our waitlist or take part in our pre-launch activities. This policy applies to our pre-launch website, waitlist and sign-up forms, and any surveys or feedback we collect during our pre-launch phase.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect personal information you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Your email address (required for waitlist sign-up);
  • Your name (required);
  • Your business name (required for vendors only);
  • For couples, your wedding-planning details, including:
    • Your wedding date;
    • Your wedding location or region;
    • The types of vendors or services you are looking for;
    • How you heard about Bubli.
  • Your preferences and interests, including:
    • Whether you would like to test the demo and help shape Bubli;
    • Whether you would like to be kept updated on Bubli’s progress and launch;
    • Whether you would like to be one of the first couples to plan your wedding with Bubli (couples only).

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect non-identifying information, including:

  • IP address;
  • Browser type and version;
  • Device information;
  • Pages viewed and website interactions.

This information helps us understand website usage and improve our content and performance.

1.3 Survey and Feedback Information

If you take part in a survey or provide feedback during our pre-launch phase, we collect the responses you provide. For vendors, this may include information about your business and operations (such as your business category, booking volumes, pricing, and the tools you use), and any contact details you choose to share (such as your name, email address, and phone number).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Add you to the Bubli waitlist;
  • Notify you about our platform launch;
  • Send updates and newsletters related to Bubli;
  • Analyse website traffic and improve our website and marketing;
  • Analyse information and improve our products;
  • Collect and analyse feedback and survey responses to test, shape, and improve Bubli;
  • Contact you about your feedback, or to arrange a follow-up conversation, where you have indicated you are open to this;
  • Understand your preferences to tailor your onboarding experience (e.g., demo testing opportunities, early access invitations);
  • Understand what couples are looking for so we can prepare the right vendors and experience ahead of launch;
  • Understand how you found us, to measure and improve our outreach.

We may use third-party tools, including AI-based tools, to help us analyse information and improve our products. We take reasonable steps to limit the personal information involved in this processing.

Spam Act compliance:

We will only send marketing communications if you have provided consent. Every email from Bubli will include a functional “unsubscribe” link in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

3. How We Store & Protect Your Information

Your personal information is stored securely using Supabase and may also be processed by third-party service providers that assist with website hosting, email delivery, or analytics.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

4. Cookies & Advertising

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are operated by Meta. To measure whether those ads work, our website uses the Meta Pixel. It sets cookies in your browser and tells Meta which pages of bubli.app you visited, along with your IP address and browser details.

We use this to understand which ads bring people to our website, and to show our ads to people who have visited it. We do not send your name, email address or wedding details to Meta through the pixel.

If you fill in a form inside Facebook or Instagram rather than on our website, Meta collects those details and passes them to us. Meta’s handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy.

You can opt out. Blocking cookies in your browser settings, or adjusting your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account, stops the pixel from associating your visit with your Meta account. bubli.app works normally either way, and opting out does not affect your place on the waitlist or any email you have asked us for.

We also use privacy-focused website analytics that measure page traffic without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share your information only in limited circumstances, including:

  • With third-party service providers who support our core operations, including website hosting, cloud storage, email delivery, analytics, advertising and ad measurement, internal business tools, and AI-based tools.
  • Where required by law.

These providers are authorised to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to Bubli.

6. Overseas Data Transfer

Some third-party service providers (such as email, analytics or advertising tools, including Meta) may store data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States.

By providing your personal information, you consent to the disclosure of your information to overseas recipients. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle personal information securely and in accordance with applicable privacy standards.

7. Your Rights

You may request to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct any inaccurate or outdated information;
  • Withdraw consent or unsubscribe from marketing communications.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our website, waitlist, and surveys are not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
